Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Sonaryn collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and what choices you have over your data.

Effective date: April 18, 2026

Sonaryn is a founder-run service. This policy reflects the current launch-stage operating model, including manual or semi-manual onboarding for supported platforms.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to people who visit the Sonaryn landing site, submit an early-access request, connect supported feeds, or send emails to Sonaryn in connection with the service.

2. Information Sonaryn collects

Depending on how you use the service, Sonaryn may collect:

  • identity and contact details such as your name and email address;
  • onboarding or early-access information such as your selected platforms, digest tone, preferred send time, timezone, goals, offer metadata, and UTM fields;
  • cookies or other session material you provide for supported platforms during onboarding or refresh flows;
  • content from feeds Sonaryn processes on your behalf, including scraped posts and related metadata;
  • email replies you send to refine your goals or respond to cookie refresh requests;
  • operational records needed to provision your account, support you, and run the service.

3. How Sonaryn uses your information

Sonaryn uses the information it collects to:

  • review early-access requests and prioritize onboarding;
  • provision your account and configure the service around your selected platforms and goals;
  • connect supported feeds, including current manual or semi-manual cookie onboarding where applicable;
  • generate and deliver your daily digest;
  • update your preferences when you reply by email;
  • detect expired sessions and request renewed access when needed;
  • support, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the service.

4. Cookies, connected accounts, and feed content

Sonaryn is built around the feeds you ask it to monitor. For some supported platforms, Sonaryn currently relies on cookies or session material that you provide so it can access your own connected account feed on your behalf.

During the current launch phase, this onboarding process may be manual or semi-manual. For example, you may be asked to export cookie files from a supported platform and send them by email. Sonaryn stores and uses that material only to connect the feeds you requested and to continue delivering the service until the session expires, is replaced, or your data is deleted.

Sonaryn also stores and processes the feed content needed to filter, score, and summarize signals relevant to your stated goals.

5. Payments and third-party services

Sonaryn uses third-party services to operate the current launch-stage product. These currently include:

  • Google Gemini API for relevance scoring, filtering, and digest-generation workflows;
  • Email infrastructure used by Sonaryn to send onboarding and operational emails and to receive user replies and cookie intake emails;
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers used to serve the landing site and operate the application on the VPS.

Billing providers may be added later after incorporation, but they are not part of the current early-access flow unless Sonaryn explicitly updates this policy.

6. Storage and retention

Sonaryn currently uses a file-based storage model. User data is stored on the Sonaryn VPS in the current operating setup rather than in a separate application database.

Data is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the service, maintain your account, handle support, and process legitimate follow-up actions such as session refresh or deletion requests. In this founder-stage phase, retention and deletion are handled manually according to the current operational process.

7. Sharing and selling data

Sonaryn does not sell your personal data. Sonaryn does not share your data for advertising purposes.

Information may be shared only with service providers needed to run the product, such as model, email, or email infrastructure providers, or when required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to your data, deletion of your data, or a portable copy of your data. For the current launch phase, Sonaryn handles these requests manually.

  • Access: request a copy of the data Sonaryn holds about you;
  • Deletion: request deletion of your account data and connected materials;
  • Portability: request your data in a transferable format.

9. Security and limits

Sonaryn takes reasonable steps to protect the information it stores for the current size and stage of the product. However, no internet transmission, inbox-based exchange, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If you provide cookies or session material to Sonaryn, you should understand that this is sensitive access material and that the current onboarding process is intentionally high-touch rather than fully automated.

10. Policy updates

Sonaryn may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the product, onboarding flow, or processor stack changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

11. Contact and privacy requests

Privacy questions or requests relating to access, deletion, or portability can be sent to contact@sonaryn.com.

For the current launch phase, privacy requests are handled manually by the founder.
